Palin - how can she do it all?

Well, for one thing - she's a babywearin' mama!

LOL, I thought so! Now that I see the photo bigger, it looks like she's nursing, too! See how the line of buttons on her shirt is pushed over to one side -- right where the baby is? I've done that myself so many times! The trick is to keep the top button buttoned so no one can tell. ;)

Barbara,

I hope it's okay....I just linked to you on my blog. (tell me if it's not and I'll change it) I discovered your blog by chance a few months ago when moving to VA. We are in Fauquier County. We have some things in common! Anyway, I just have a personal family site....nothing like yours. You inspire me!

I linked you to a post over at my blog. Anyway... Thanks for sharing this pic. It is a refreshing perspective for moms who "do it all."

Blessings.

Barbara - I love this picture! That's been my life so many times, with nine children, and I can see how she can mother her children and govern at the same time. I can't use enough superlatives to describe how fascinating this woman is. I am just delighted as all get out. BTW your Sisterhood of the Given-up-Pants remark cracked me up.
It dawned on me as I read your column that I had read you in the Loudon paper, since I had subscribed when my daughter was the Gourmet Writer.
Your work is inspiring.

Barbara,
miliehimama has made a great matthew 25 poster re Obama. I wish I could cut and paste it here her but I don't know how.
Here's a quote from her:

The Obama campaign, ever hungry for the Evangelical and Catholic vote, is all atwitter over a new PAC - the Matthew 25 PAC. Obama has used Matthew 25 as his main talking point when addressing matters of faith and politics.
Here's a poster I made up just for them!

I think you and other readers with blogs might love to add it to their sidebar. A picture really does speak a thousand words.
here's the url to her blog:
