2004: Democrats revile backers of Fannie Mae regulation

Only a media complicit with the liberal agenda would continue to ignore the documented history which shows Democrats actually reviled those charged with regulating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Bush and McCain called for more regulation. Obama - as is often his wont - was absent from the discussion but now claims he was right. Right about what? He certainly didn't disagree with his party.

And remember: Obama is the second biggest recipient of Fannie Mae funds and has honored two disgraced officials who cleaned up personally while there with important positions in his campaign:
