Benanna engaged!
Our son Ben proposed yesterday to the lovely and gracious Anna - the other half of the couple known for the past five years to friends and family as Benanna.
We couldn't be happier!
Ben borrowed a rug, table, chairs, table cloth, etc from home and set a table out in a field where they have gone occasionally to watch the sunset. He had made and packed dinner himself. I figured she would know something was up since he had a jacket and tie on when he picked her up.
Afterwards, they came back to Anna's family's house for a quiet celebration and champagne toast. As all things the Condons do, it was perfect and beautiful.
We love you Anna - and have for a long time. We are so happy and looking forward to the day when you will be "officially" part of the Curtis family.
Ben and Anna both graduate next spring - Ben from Liberty and Anna from Virginia Tech. Ben has applied to various opera companies, so the plan right now is to go where his work leads. Please pray for this exciting adventure.
Funny thing: Anna lives on Curtis Lane. Is that foreshadowing or what?

Congratulations to them both! You've mentioned that your son is an opera singer before and I've always wanted to hear him sing. Maybe you've posted it before? If not, I would love to hear it!

Wow! Ben's engaged! My Barbara, how our kids that played together are growing up. I can't believe it, but it's a wonderful blessing!
