Barbara,

This isn't related to the video but to th eelection--a lovely blog by a Catholic fervently praying for our nation from afar...

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.
St. Catherine Laboure, pray for us.

God bless you and your family, Barbara,

Once again, I'm seeing lots of anti-Obama stuff, but nothing explaining why you would vote for McCain. I totally get why you won't vote for Obama/support Sarah Palin and I respect it; however I am having trouble understanding your support for John McCain himself. Anything that really draws you to him? Have you considered any third party candidates?

Todd -

I did not like McCain or trust him until he nominated Palin. That said something about his character that we hadn't seen before.

I am voting against Obama. I will not vote third party because I will not contribute to losing the election to a hate-America Marxist who could do irreparable damage through Supreme Court nominations.

It's that simple.

Barbara, I totally agree. The first video I saw of Obama was his speech to Planned Parenthood where he promised to sign FOCA first thing. That in itself was enough for me to know that I must vote against him in a meaningful way, especially since a vote against meant a vote for life.

I already voted. The most effective vote against Obama is a vote for McCain.

I don't understand how identity politics is going to heal America's race relations.
