Sarah Palin: Obama's vision of America

"This is not a man who sees America

as you see America and as I see America."

Sarah Palin on Barack Obama

October 4, 2008

Thank you, Sarah!

What a travesty it would be to have a leader who is ashamed of his country!

I am grateful Palin said unequivocally that she believes in American exceptionalism. No, we are not perfect, but we are the best hope there is for freedom. You start from that basis and work towards a more perfect union. You do not start by trashing your country and encouraging others around the world to do so - all so you can bill yourself as a Savior.

Please talk to your friends and neighbors about these ideas they are not hearing on the nightly news. There is a lot at stake for the future of this nation and our children.

Love,

I read a very lengthy article about Obama and his economic plan. I was really struck by something he said in defense of his socialist agendas. He said that he felt that unrestricted capitalism was social darwinism!

There are many many poor people who do not see themselves as a victim of a cruel society. Some of us would rather be poor and free than rich and in a socialized government. He thinks he is being sympathetic but in my opinion he is being elitist.
