Obama wants to bankrupt coal industry

But what we gotta understand is that the majority of people voting for him are so determined it doesn't matter what news comes to light.

Part of me wishes he would win so people could see the results. But the more sensible part of me knows we can't afford the damage he will do - even in four years. With radicals like Nancy Pelosi and Barney Franks and Maxine Waters in Congress, the new liberalism will make John F. Kennedy look like Barry Goldwater.

An informed electorate is an empowered electorate!

Thank you, Barbara, for posting this.

I know.

Oh, I know so well. And it's no accident that this information wasn't shared until two days before the election.

I keep thinking the same thing about Obama winning the election. If we have to be taken low, our nation must need to be taken low for reasons known only to God.

My heart hurts when I think of all the people putting their hope in mere men.

This morning I went to the United Mine Workers of America site... expecting to see something on this posted on their site. Nothing. Still just the anti-McCain stuff from before. So I called. I asked the woman who answered what their take was on the new release of Obama's position on coal, bankrupting coal plants. She said, "no comment." And she hung up on me. Later today I visited their site again... this time they have a repudiation of the quote saying it is out of context and smear by the McCain campaign. They STILL stand by Obama.

As the Union and the media hide this quote and so much more, they hand the election over the Obama destroying jobs and our economy. Why? What spell are they under??? Sadly, with so little time, the American people may not be informed quickly enough to avoid this mess.

Barbara, I grew up in Oak Creek,CO home of the most successful coal mine (Twenty Mile Coal Co) in the nation. We had a coal furnace, and all of my friends parents worked as either miners or railroad workers transferring the coal. If the coal mine industry completely collapsed, my home town would cease to exist.

This hits *very* close to home. Thank you for posting it.
