The House I Live In
Maddy sang a solo - "The House I Live In" - for Loudoun Valley High's Veteran's Day program. You can see Sinatra sing it - and hear some beautiful lyrics - at 6:40 on the clip above.
I've loved this song for a long time and suggested it as a perfect post-election reminder of the most important things in life. I guess Laura Ingraham was on the same page - she closed her show this morning with it.
I am a proud mama.
