Need info on RSS feeds

Hi Barbara!

I have been reading your blog for about two months now, and I'm happy to say that I'm hooked! Your site is one of my daily stops on the internet. I particularly liked your commentaries on Christmas. At my house we love Jesus and we're proud to say "Merry Christmas" to just about everyone we meet.

Is there a way to subscribe to your blog? And how does one post a comment? Please excuse my ignorance about these things-I use a computer every day for our home business, but I just never have been so interested in a blog until I came across yours. There is so much on your site that I want to share with my other mommy friends-is there a way to do that? Thanks so much for your words-they mean a lot to me. I appreciate your wisdom and your testimony.
sincerely,

A___ from Chicago

Merry Christmas! God bless you!

Dear A______

thank you for your kind words!!

Your comments are always welcome - It's easy to post one. Just click on Comments in blue at the bottom of whatever entry you want to comment on. If there are already comments, you will need to scroll to the bottom, click on Post a Comment and enter your name - first only is okay or any nickname you wish, your email address (which will not be published) and write whatever you wish. There is a verification letter for you to enter, then click submit.

It takes a while for comments to show up because I moderate comments, which means I reserve the right not to publish those that sound like an intruder burst into my living room and started ranting at me.

To share my blog you can just send the address http://www.mommylife.net to anyone via email. To share a specific entry, click on the title, then highlight the information in the URL bar at the top (the one with the address - which you will see change to a specific page at http://www.mommylife/whatever), right click, then copy and paste the link into an email.

You can subscribe to my blog through a subscription service - I think they're called RSS feeds. I have never used one myself so I will post your your comment and maybe some readers will enlighten us both - as well as tell us why they like their particular service.

Blessings to you and your family at Christmas and through the New Year!
Love,

I use bloglines, because it seemed most common when I got interested in blogging. It's easy to use.
bloglines.com

Tim Challies, a prominent Christian blogger, did a post on why he uses Netvibes, if you want to google that. I thought it was kind of "busy."

Bloglines-- I love it; I can breeze through all my blogs/news sources all in one location rather than clicking from site to site.

Also, on most blogs or places with RSS feed, you can look up in your browser window and click on the orange square to subscribe using whatever feedreader you use.

Love my RSS feedreader!

Yup, I'm with the others on bloglines, I love it.

I'd signed up with a few other rss feed things in the past but found them overly complex.

I've used Bloglines for years and love it. I even use it for my blogroll.

I've heard about Google reader, but have never tried it because Bloglines works so well for me.

My son home from college set me up with Google reader yesterday. It was very simple and so far is working great. If you have a Google account, go to Google, click on the "more" tab and select reader. Click "add subscription" and copy/paste the URLs of the blogs you want to add. I simply went down the blogroll on my blog and copied each URL one at a time. I was done in about five minutes.
