    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Fields of Gold by Eva Cassidy

Maddy's always building her repertoire. Right now she's working on Fields of Gold - originally written and performed by Sting, but sung so much more movingly by Eva Cassidy. It's the kind of song that won't let you go:

I LOVE Eva Cassidy. Her song, Songbird, was sung at our wedding and her version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow is beautiful!!

Another Eva Cassidy fan here! I read online that Sting preferred her version of "Fields of Gold" to his own (although I can't find a link to the actual interview). I also love "Wade in the Water" and "People Get Ready" from Songbird.

I have been a huge Eva Cassidy fan for years. Her singing brings me to tears almost every time I her her crystal voice. She was taken from us far too young!
