Bloggers are heralding news and information about the pro-life movement when traditional media have ignored the most pressing crisis of our day - the war on LIFE.
Blogging is an often thankless and solitary job and it's time we recognized pro-life bloggers for their contribution to the pro-life movement and potential to transform the landscape of our common cause to protect and defend the sanctity of each human being's life.
Congratulations to the other winners - and I can't wait to meet you next week!
We will be receiving our awards at Blogs4Life on January 22 and American Life League's Training and Activism Week and Personhood Conference January 23, 2009.
My award includes two nights at The Capitol Liasion, which is a real blessing - as for the fourth year, I will be doing my best to make up for the lack of Dinosaur Media coverage by documenting the March for Life in photos and words (see past photo journals here). How wonderful it will be to come out of the cold to a cozy room rather than adding a couple hours for the journey home.
And it means I will be there to meet anyone else who's coming. Let me know if you'd like to get together afterward.
