Your actions speak so loudly I can't hear what you're saying

Lately I've been struck by how easily manipulated people are by words. Obama says he wants bipartisanship - even goes and shakes Republican hands on Capitol Hill - but just continues his juggernaut unchanged in any way.

We need to look at people's actions to see where their hearts lie - not be lulled into complacency by words. Or confused by the discrepancy between their words and actions.

I've run into individuals who claim to want to dialogue when what they really want is to "persuade" (or browbeat) you into giving up your core beliefs to accept theirs. Dialogue does involve listening and keeping an open mind and does sometimes end with politely agreeing to disagree. Those who find this difficult need to really ask themselves if they are interested in dialogue or verbal combat.

Liberals tend to the Orwellian in their misuse of language - as in their constant harping on 'Freedom" and "Choice" while working to shut down choice and freedom for anyone on their blacklist (no school choice, the ACLU suing to force doctors to perform abortions, over-restrictive gun laws, etc)

"Right to privacy" - Abortion
"Rigid Ideologue" = A conservative who stands on principles.
"Compromise" = Agree with liberal agenda
"Open Minded" = "Subscribes to Liberal Dogma"
"Diversity" = Lock step conformity with liberal agenda

"Closed-minded" = Does not agree with liberal agenda

"Multiculturalism" = America is responsible for all the world's ills and is inferior to all other cultures
"Choice"= The right to terminate (kill) your unborn child, but does not include the right to decide where your child will attend school if he or she survives "choice". Choice to carry a firearm for self-defense? No! Choice to privatize your Social Security? No!
"Oversight" = Government
"Consistent ethic of life" = "We're not really pro-abortion, but we're embarrassed by the Church's pro-life teachings because it places at odds with our favored party, the
Democrats."

"Hate rhetoric" = Criticism of liberals.
"Religious right" = Conservatives who believe in God.

"Extremist" Anybody who opposes anything a liberal wants.

"Bipartisanship" = When "moderate" and/or "Rino" Republicans go along with the liberal agenda.
"Enlightened" = Those that openly protest or boycott Conservative or Libertarian agenda

"Homophobe" = A person who believes that man-woman love and marriage ought to be society's ideal.
"Investment" = We want to spend more of your money.
"Intolerance" = Disagreeing with the liberal point of view.

"Republicans believe every day is 4th of July, but Democrats believe every day is April 15."
