Matthews greets Jindal's appearance: "Oh, God"
In case you missed this:
Matthews has spent the past year jockeying for position as Obama's Number One cheerleader. Remember the tingle up the leg? Or Matthews' boasting of MSNBC's role in getting Obama elected?
Our Mainstream Media is as propagandist as any totalitarian government ever was. And just as dangerous.
My advice: listen to Rush Limbaugh. Really. he is the only one who is delivering fearless analysis every day. If your opinion of Rush is based on what others have said, remember how they trashed Reagan during his years as president (now they are more respectful, but they savaged him the same way they savaged Bush), how hard they worked and are still working to destroy Sarah Palin. And how they are circling like sharks around Bobby Jindal.
Think of how they vilify Dr. Dobson - a man with a spotless and virtuous record of working on behalf of families. Think of how they trash the Catholic Church and the Pope.
All for the crime of being moral conservatives.
If you have prejudged Rush based on what you've heard, you need to take a fresh look. He is the most optimistic believe-in-America-and-its-citizenry voice out there today. Listen to him for a week and see what I mean. If you are homeschooling, it is a great way to teach your teens critical thinking and analysis, so you can consider it part of the curriculum.

If you listen carefully, someone is laughing after he makes that remark. Can we say, "Bias?"
John Ziegler has a Media Malpractice website set up. He's promoting his documentary on how Obama got elected and how Sarah Palin was "assassinated." (his word).
I haven't checked out how much his documentary is yet (although I will) but his website has some very interesting video clips. He has attacked the media and they're getting angry.

It's very interesting between watching John Ziegler and Rick Santelli how anyone who dares to speak out is in danger. (My opinion).
Rick Santelli was on The Today Show this morning and he was talking about the danger he felt from the Obama Administration due to Mr. Gibbs. He looked a little scared.
We have to pray.

In addition to Rush, don't forget Laura Ingrahm and Michele Malkin!

I like Jindal. I am hoping he hits the national scene. But that speech was not a good one. The worst I have heard him make.
I don't think Limbaugh or Santelli are the bastions of truth either. They often say things that are just not true. Santelli's rep is not a good one. He hit a sensitive chord with his bailout remarks and is riding on that tide. He may be scared that some of his background comes out.
No trashing of the Church and Pope here. Bush was well respected here until his policies started going to pot and he could not stem that tide. We need a break from this economic disaster, and whether Obama's master plan is one that we like, if it can give us a breather, it could make a difference in many family's lives.
[note from Barbara - this is the problem I have with many of your comments, Cath, which put words in my mouth. I never called Rush Limbaugh a bastion of truth - and when you start a lengthy comment with that misrepresentation it is frustrating to give you the floor]

For Rick Santelli to be scared that some of his "background" may come out is a bit of...strawman. It's just plain silly.
Rick Santelli has a reputation for being passionate about economics. That is why he is on tv. Rick is going against the Obama Machine and the rest of the media who is in Obama's pocket. That is extremely formidible and I believe that he could very well lose his job over this. Don't forget..he has bills to pay just like the rest of us. He's got to put his kids through college. I'd hate to see his kids pay the price for him telling the truth and speaking exactly what the rest of us have been thinking. God bless Rick Santelli.

I'll add something else, too. Obama's Master Plan. How anyone can trust this "Master Plan" is beyond me. He made sure that no one had a chance to study it first. With anything of this magnitude, we have to have time to at least read it before we accept it. Holy Cow. I hope you don't sign contracts before reading them! This is so much bigger and we're not allowed to read it first?? This has all the earmarks of bad legislation and snakes.

My husband listens to Rush, but he also enjoys Glenn Beck. Glenn has a radio program as well as a show on Fox News. I can't listen to the radio during the day due to my job, but I have actually enjoyed watching Glenn with my husband in the evenings. I am getting fired up about issues I have with the government. For the first time in my adult life (I'm 31), I care about what is happening to my country, thanks to Glenn Beck. I recommend listening or watching for another viewpoint on the state of our nation.

Big fan of Glenn Beck here, too. Principle, reason, common sense, passion, humor.

Glenn Beck is a breath of fresh air! I enjoy his radio show (comes on before Rush on our local AM station). Glad he has a show on
Fox now. Just wish Fox would rerun it later like they do the 8-11 pm shows.
