Tripp is home again!

Tripp came home Saturday morning. He was surprisingly active - coming to the table for dinner and supervising the boys' showers before bed.

Too active, probably. He has spent yesterday and today in a lot of pain. Even said this morning that if he had known what the aftermath would be, he would never have gone for a knee replacement in the first place.

I reminded him that that would not be good as he was hobbling around for years like a listing ship. He already looks several inches taller.

The physical therapist is here now, so this will probably give him more hope.

Thanks for your prayers.

The kids are home from school today, so lots of excitement swirling around here.

Love,

Close friend of our family had a father who was a famous surgeon who underwent several hip surgeries because of complications. He wanted someone to shoot him after the last one, and was adamant he would not undergo another procedure if it failed. He had had it. He gave him over 20 years of full mobility, however, as it did succeed.

I hope this one does it for Tripp. My mother in law has pretty much recovered from her hip replacement but has a double knee replacement looming over her if she is to be mobile. We are praying that things go smoothly for her and that she gets back on her feet by the end of this year.

I'm glad to hear he's home. I pray that his will be the last of his surgeries and that he is on the road to a full recovery, better than ever.

SO glad that Tripp is home.

We have been and continue to pray for him, you, and the children.

Please encourage and remind Tripp that the mobility that this appliance with give him, in order to be a more active participant in family activities, will be well worth it!

I understand that he has been under horrible pain. All he has to do is just make it through one day at a time and know that the next day WILL be better.

Blessing to all of you!
