I am a grandmother of 8 beautiful children. Nearly three years ago, my daughter and her husband adopted a brand new baby girl, born with Down Syndrome. She had been rejected at the hospital by her (chosen)adoptive parents-to-be. No one else wanted her. Charity has brought a lot of joy to her family. She has two older brothers and two older sisters, all of whom think she is the most wonderful little person! Because of their constant interaction with her, she is close to 'normal' in her social interactions. Her grandparents and other extended family members all love her, too. She will be three years old on March 21st. What a great addition to our family! I hope I can win this book to share with all of them!

My very best friend has a daughter who has Down Syndrome. What a wonderful child she is, too. I would appreciate a copy of this book. I would like to read it and also to pass it on to another Mom who just gave birth. It looks like her new baby has Down Syndrome and I think this mom could use some help. She's only 22 and is having a difficult time with it.
Thank you, Barbara, for the chance to win this book.

I would love a copy. I don't have a child with Down's in my life right now, but I am always looking for ways to stretch.

Thank you Barbara, I've wanted to read this for months now. I don't have a child w/ Downs, but I have always had a great love for them and pray that if God ever needs a home for such a child, He will consider ours. My youngest brother who would be 15 now had Downs, but died in utero and there has always been a hole in our family. So I LOVE reading what the Curtis Downzers are up to! :))
Thank you for all that you do to build us Moms up, you are a gift.

Thanks so much for offering these great resources! There are two families (at least two) in our church who have Downs kids, and they are such an encouragement. I would appreciate learning more!

I would love to read this book. My youngest child is 2 years old and has Down Syndrome. There are still days when I struggle to grasp what this all means for all of us and then I remember God is in control. God has entrusted us with a precious little boy and we couldn't possibly love him any more! I found so much encouragement from reading "Gifts" and would love the opportunity to read this one too. Thanks for the chance to win!

My daughter was just born this past January. She is 9 weeks old and was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. I would like to read this book as her experience sounds like it may be of encouragement to me during this most difficult time.
