Obama: more fear-mongering

Propaganda 101:

Create phrases as in the child's game Ad-Lib:

"most terrible/horrible/devastating crisis/catastrophe/disaster/calamity/emergency ever to threaten/devastate/beset/menace/grip/plague our country/nation/continent/world/planet/galaxy"

Set yourself as savior:

Under my plan/I propose/I will provide

Refer to vague adversaries who are out to thwart your efforts on behalf of your savees:

There who stand in the way of progress and hope/My enemies/Rush Limbaugh/The voices who would deny hope

Be sure to cook the books, - stack the deck with statistics

And if things seem to be getting a little old, throw in a good lie.

I somehow missed that Obama said that health care problems were causing a bankruptcy every 30 seconds!!!!

How dumb does he think we are?  Evidently pretty dumb.  Plus it doesn't help that the media - which endlessly repeats any small slip of the tongue made by a conservative just conveniently forgot to tell us.

Obama's Bankruptcy Math Has to Be Wrong

This week's crisis - his health care summit.  As usual, it is a crisis and we must act NOW - without careful deliberation but just the usual Obama Juggernaut Style - ram it through, don't ask questions.  Is he purposely trying to indenture the American people for generations to come?  Is he psychologically ill that he must be either in crisis mode or or jetting about for public adulation sessions or partying in high style?

Could he just stop and take a deep breath?  What a dangerous and  psychologically/emotionally/spiritually unfit man now holds our future in his hands!

Don't stop with the political posts, Barbara. I'm hooked. This helps me get information to back up what I've been saying.

The situation is truly a frightening one and a crisis. Hard times are coming if they have not already hit. What can Obama say? It is not a good situation at all. And according to the markets, they are not impressed with any of his solutions. With 3 and half times as much money available for the markets, the investments are at a low, low, low. Those I know working think it's going to go lower yet. Here in NY, it has become a true financial carnage.

The whole thing makes me sick.

Cath, Obama's policies are making things worse! He is causing the "financial carnage," as you say.

I am starting to believe that he *wants* things to fail, a la Alinsky, so that he can make the American people completely dependent upon him.

These ARE scary times, but Obama is the one driving the fear.

Thanks for keeping me up to date on the political front. Honestly, it's too depressing for me to watch the local news channels and we don't get FOX. You are my one link to conservative news since homeschooling my 5 children leave me with little to no time to browse the internet. Please, keep this up!!!!
