Obama switches teleprompter for massive screen
So the public might think he can speak without a script:

This is a little petty, don't you think?
[No, I don't - I think it's BIG, just like the Wizard of Oz was bigger than the little man who didn't want anyone to look behind the curtain. I think this unqualified man cannot speak without a script. A press conference is supposed to be spontaneous.]

Hi Barbara,
I KNEW IT! I was looking for those teleprompters but couldn't find them. But I could see his eyes moving back n forth so I knew there was something. He really doesn't "work the room" huh?

I think that a few people were starting to think they were watching a tennis match the way Obama would rhythmically move his head left to right to left to right.
Now I guess we are supposed to think he is talking directly to us.
I thought he was supposed to be a great orator. I guess that is all part of the fantasy they were selling.
This is getting more OZ-like all the time isn't it?

Has anyone seen Anchorman? I know it's definitely NOT a PG movie, but there is a scene that always makes me think of Obama.
The main charcter is *suprise* an anchorman. He ALWAYS reads from the teleprompter and will read ANYTHING it says on air.
The other characters are mad at him and want to sabatage his lead anchor status, so they insert an insult to the city into the teleprompter.
Instead of the ususal "Have a Good Day" they put in something, shall we say, less charitable.
Anyways, the anchorman reads the edited teleprompter message and is promptly fired following public outrage.
I think Obama would also read ANYTHING put on that screen. Can you believe he's our president?!

Is it just me or does the MSM seem to be slowly turning on him? Not everyone because I have observed remnants of the love fest from the campaign trail, but it seems that slowly media members are starting to turn on him. I can't tell if this is out of an effort to appear "fair" and balanced in their reporting (snort) or if they're truly starting to see reasons to be concerned (can you say too little, too late?) or if they're starting to see him as good a punching bag as any other news worthy item.

The big screen didn't work too well for him, did it? I'm wondering what sort of device he had on the podium that he kept looking at. With Rahm in the back of the room, texting madly on his Blackberry, it makes me wonder.

Even my KIDS could tell he was reading!!
I've seen weathermen more effective at reading a screen...sheesh...
BTW, love the new hair and picture :)

This man is a fake. Pure and simple--a great big huge FAKE!
I found myself sickened by the way he presented himself and only watched about 10 minutes before I went on to more important things that I had to do. This is not my "norm", but I just couldn't take it.
I do think that eventually some of his "Obamites" will see him for who he is (and all of his cohorts, too), but I also think that things may become really, really bad before they "get it".
I still can't hardly believe he is our president....

It's like Rush said:
" If you let the media make you, you are subjecting yourself to the media being able to destroy you."
