Preparing My Heart for Montherhood - book giveaway!

PreParingHeartforMotherhood-BookCover-white.jpg[Wow, that was fast!  The books are all spoken for - but do check it out at Ann's site - or ask your library to order it!]

I'm very excited because my friend Ann Stewart, who is my neighbor and also a writer - Preparing My Heart for Advent, Preparing My Heart for Easter, and now TaDa! Preparing My Heart for Motherhood - has given me five books to give to the first five readers who comment here.

Ann says:
Looking for a nice Mother's Day gift for a friend or relative? Or feeling like you could use some encouragement in your parenting? Preparing My Heart for Motherhood: For Mothers at any Stage of the Journey--- Ann Stewart's third book in the series is now out. Filled with thirty stories from women asked, "What do you wish you knew about motherhood before you became a parent," the answers are varied and thought-provoking. PMHFM is also a Bible study --- asking questions of the moms and challenging them to consider how to apply biblical truths to their parenting.

The thirty lessons are divided into six categories moving from a Mom's relationship God all the way to how her heart spills out with treasures for her children. A Heart for God, A Heart for Husband and Friends, A Changed Heart, An Open Heart, A Full Heart. [Note from Barbara: My story opens the book - "A Heart for God is Loved by God." My answer to the question was "I wish I had known God loved me and had a plan for my life."]

Not about diapers, discipline, and dating, the book focuses on how preparing our heart gives us the tools necessary for parenting. Whether you're about to be a new mom, or your children are teenagers, you'll find the biblical concepts helpful.

Find out more about Ann at her website www.preparingmyheart.com. And when you read Preparing My Heart for Motherhood, look for me in the first chapter!

This mom of three would love to read the book and then maybe pass it along.

Does my comment count, even though I already have three boys???
I do feel like sometimes my heart is not in the right place though; this should be a good read.
Thanks momma!
Hope all is well by you!
