Stop Sebelius nomination - petition
One last post about Sebelius - and a petition for you to sign. George Tiller, pictured below, is the abortionist of last resort for women who come to Kansas to abort babies up until the last minute of their pregnancy through partial birth abortion (the truth - including graphic image - here) - with Sebelius doing her best for years to protect him from scrutiny, while receiving Planned Parenthood support for her campaign.From American Life League (I can vouch for all of this as I researched and reported on this last summer for Focus on the Family):

Rather, Obama's modus operandi has and will continue to be full-scale attack on the personhood of the weak, disabled and preborn.
Kathleen Sebelius, Obama's pick to lead the nation's chief agency for health care, has made no secret of her radical support for the abortion movement. Indeed she has praised, defended and treated to dinner at the governor's mansion the notorious Dr. George Tiller - set to stand trial for performing illegal late term abortions.
Sebelius, an alleged Catholic, has been repeatedly rebuked by her archbishop for her pro-abortion work. In fact Archbishop Joseph Naumann has asked Sebelius not to receive Holy Communion in his archdiocese for her flagrant support for the intrinsic evil of abortion.
Appointing Gov. Sebelius to HHS Secretary is like appointing Dr. Jack Kevorkian as Surgeon General. Kathleen Sebelius poses a huge threat to the health and well-being of every single American, particularly those marginalized by the culture of death.
We the undersigned demand that our Senators, as our elected representatives, reject Obama's recommended appointment of Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to Health and Human Services Secretary.

Thanks for posting that I will go and sign right after this. Some of us here in Ks are not very thrilled with her and wished Doctor Tiller were not a member of the state either. My only happy bit about her new nomination was that she would not be Governer of Ks any longer!! SIGH........ Oh well, better here then the whole country I guess.

Another suggested the Kansas Bishops should excommunicate
her.
That would take some real moral fortitude but would
send a message loud and clear!

I appreciate the link to sign the petition. I did sign, despite the fact that the effort is clearly going to be used to plump the mailing list of this organization, as you must both "subscribe" and confirm your e-mail address. I could be wrong, but I won't be surprised if donation solicitations commence very soon. It's just what happens...
Sometimes you just want to lend your voice to an effort without a lifetime commitment to that particular organization, as you're also committed to others, you know? Sometimes I just get so tired of the tricks and everyone aggressively trying to get more,more,more from me. We're marketed and solicited to death for everything under the sun. Constant overload. SHHHH! Sometimes I can't even hear what GOD is asking of me amidst all the din and clutter!
I can't be the only one who is getting this way...

God bless you for alerting your readers to this horrible nomination. We all must do our part by emailing, writing, phoning and then pray and fast to stop the Sebelius appointment. We must do likewise to stop Obama from rescinding the conscience clause that protects all prolife medical personal from being forced to assist at or commit abortions as well as other anti-life procedures.

I would sign the petition if the first paragraph were deleted. It is hyperbolic exaggeration to say Obama has launched a "full-scale attack on the personhood of the week, disabled, and preborn."
And it is simply false to say Obama has "no" concern for the health of Americans. Of course he cares about Americans' health in many ways; it is only in some ways that he is horribly wrong.
