Fox declines 3rd Obama primetime press conference
From Yahoo News:
Fox sticking with schedule instead of ObamaNEW YORK - The Fox network is sticking with its regular schedule over President Barack Obama this week.
The network is turning down the president's request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marks Obama's 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me."
It's the first time a broadcast network has refused Obama's request. This will be the third prime-time news conference in Obama's presidency. ABC, CBS and NBC are airing it.
Yay for Fox! Who is this man who demands prime time coverage three times in three months, whose most imporant mission seems the branding and marketing of himself?
I don't even watch TV News, but I am full up to here with the filtered down obsessing over Obama's first 100 days and the rush to declare him some kind of national hero. Everything is glossed over and even his failures are reported as triumphs. The stock markets is still down and the banks and car industry were not rescued, but set up for more domination and nationalization.
His constant hyper-activity, traveling and the Magical Apology Tour in which he trashed our nation while disassociating himself from it - isn't that a clever way to build your own image, by cutting off the legs of the nation that just rewarded you with the presidency? - has cost us tons of money (don't forget he took an entourage of 500 to Europe) and left a huge carbon footprint.
He and his cohorts have dissed FOX at news conferences because they are the only network that does not fawn over him, but present what I believe the most balanced TV news available and this is a regime that believes opposition should be squashed.
So, once again, yay for FOX!

Maybe the new program "Lie To Me" will have a bigger than usual audience, with people clicking to watch something other than a man read a teleprompter for an hour.
Do you think that the new admin. would take it personally if Fox's ratings were higher than normal at that time?

It sounds as if Fox's audience could have had a choice of a drama or reality show of "Lie to Me" or "Lies to You!"! HA.

Woohoo!!! Go FOX!!!!! Isn't it ironic that Fox is showing "Lie to Me" instead of Obama? I've never watched Lie to Me but I'm sure it's much more humorous than anything Obama can or will say.

All of us should tune in at Fox, even if all it does it run in the background, just to show our support. Go Fox! Only network to stand their ground and not just roll over for an Obama tummy-rub.
