Sebelius - more blood money from arbortionist Tiller - contact your Senators to stop her confirmation

Kathleen Sebelius a CINO - Catholic in Name Only - who owes her gubernatorial win to blood money from Planned Parenthood and the most notorious abortionist in our country - George Tiller.

She is also Obama's nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services. Like many of Obama's nominees, she has been dishonest in her disclosures - in this instance, campaign donations as opposed to income tax evasion (like Timothy Geithner, now head of our Treasury).

Breaking news today - which will probably be ignored by the Obamedia:

From KansasLiberty.com:

sebelius.jpgTiller letter reveals much larger-than-reported donations to Sebelius

A Kansas pro-life organization re-released a letter Wednesday in which late-term Wichita abortionist Dr. George Tiller [shown left at a thank you party thrown in his honor by Kansas Governor Sebelius] admitted to personally donating $200,000 to his political action committee, ProKanDo, to support Kathleen Sebelius in her 2002 gubernatorial campaign against pro-life Republican challenger Tim Shallenburger.

"In my naivete," Tiller wrote, "I thought my personal contribution of $200,000 to Pro Kan Do would be more than enough to alert voters to the anti-choice position of Mr. Shallenberger (sic)."

In the letter, obtained by Operation Rescue, Tiller begged other "friends of choice" to help raise an additional $250,000 for the PAC to be spent on Sebelius' campaign.

Operation Rescue said Sebelius had lied during the Senate Finance Committee hearings when she testified she had only received $12,450 from Tiller during her insurance commissioner campaign, when she actually received almost $38,500 from Tiller.

More information about Sebelius financial affiliations with Tiller can be viewed on the Kansas Meadowlark website at http://kansasmeadowlark.com/2009/03/03/sebelius-tiller-prokando/ (see slide 20).

"I don't want some ultra-conservative politician closing our doors and putting an end to my practice," Tiller said in his letter. "Together we can make sure we have a pro-choice Governor for Kansas..."

The Tiller letter appears to show the donations to Sebelius previously reported represent only a partial amount of money she has received from the abortion clinic operator. "This letter is the smoking gun showing that Sebelius continues to conceal the full extent of her financial support from Tiller," said Operation Rescue president Troy Newman in the statement.

"Kathleen Sebelius benefited from the hundreds of thousands of dollars that Tiller personally gave to influence the outcome of the 2002 election in her favor," Newman also said. "This letter is undeniable evidence that Sebelius has yet to come clean with the Senate Finance Committee, and with the American people concerning her strong financial ties to abortionist Tiller."

Which reminds me of something I've needed to blog about - there is one chance to block Sebelius's nomination. Senator Brownback, a Catholic and normally a staunch and dependable pro-life politician is supporting Sebelius's nomination despite the blood on her hands (I know that's dramatic, but folks, this is the kind of situation the metaphor was created for). This stance has caused division in conservative ranks.

The postponement of Sebelius's confirmation gives you Kansans time to lean on Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts to sidestep the confirmation by way of a Senate tradition:

A.L.L. Calls on KS Senators to Stop Sebelius as Confirmation Postponed
WASHINGTON, April 2
-- As news emerged that Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' nomination to Health and Human Services Secretary has been postponed until the end of April, American Life League called on Kansas Senators Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts to reject the nomination.

By calling on "Senatorial Courtesy" -- the longstanding Senate tradition only confirming nominees if their home-state senators approve -- Sens. Brownback and Roberts may be able to reject the nomination and stop Sebelius.

"Sen. Brownback and Sen. Roberts have an unparalleled opportunity to keep the most rabidly pro-abortion governor in the nation away from our country's healthcare," said Shaun Kenney, executive director of American Life League. "Both of these men have long claimed the title 'pro-life,' now is the time to prove it."

American Life League rolled out a STOP Sebelius campaign in March. Thousands of supporters signed onto a STOP Sebelius petition and were activated to contact their senators and urge them to reject the nomination.

New sources originally reported the confirmation would come Thursday night, however as calls poured into Senate offices from around the country, the Senate Finance Committee decided to push back a final vote until the end of April.

"The senators are listening to the voice of their constituents," Kenney said. "But now this battle shifts to Sen. Brownback and Sen. Roberts. It remains in their power to reject the nomination of pro-abortion radical Gov. Kathleen Sebelius."
