Ads on MommyLife - and blogging stats
I want to thank all my readers for understanding the necessity of advertising on MommyLife. Money earned through paid ads and my Amazon link have made it possible for me to wake up each morning and choose blogging - researching and keeping us all informed - over writing articles for paid publications.
And I want to thank the advertisers who must truly understand the influence of blogs enough to channel a significant portion of advertising dollars to blogs.
Especially, thanks to BlogHer and BlogAds, who advanced blog advertising by packaging blogs with distinct readership groups and then working hard to sell advertising.
Peony asked recently about floating layers which were appearing at MommyLife. I am so sorry - I did not know this was happening. I had missed a memo from one of the advertising networks about that and had not opted out. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, Peony - I have fixed it.
And, please - if y'all see anything weird on my blog let me know.
Thanks to all of you who remember to link through MommyLife to Amazon - and who have discovered that you can find just about anything there at great prices - saving money, time and energy on shopping.

Here is the thing that I find interesting. I am the person who controls nearly all of my families spending. These advertisers have zero chance of getting in front of my eyes without these ads. I don't watch TV, I don't listen to radio or read magazines. I do read "Mommy Blogs".
I love your site, and I'm glad and blessed that it is here.
