Correct way to sneeze

Seems like a good time to rerun this one from 2007:

The first time I saw my kids sneezing into their sleeves, I corrected them. Then they corrected me.

Once they explained it, it made perfect sense. The elbow sneeze has caught on fast where I live. Have you all seen the new technique? Are people using it in your part of the country?

Personally I always elbow sneeze. So one point for elbow sneezers.

I didn't know it WAS a trend! I've always taught my kids to cough on their elbows. IMO, if you cover your sneeze with your hands, then go about your business, you might as well have just sneezed on someone to begin with.

Have you ever done the glitter experiment? (only for brave, brave souls with good vacuum cleaners).

Sprinkle some glitter onto children's hands and tell them it represents germs. See how fast it spreads ... and how diligently they must wash their hands to get it off!
