Day's funniest headline - Obama targets Cheerios

cheerios.jpg

drudgelogo.gif

Seriously, these people are absolutely nuts! (Click the headline for the story.) I've been letting lots of political stuff go because there is just so much to mourn, day after day, as our country is being dismantled and we look forward to galloping inflation, third-class health care (look what Big Government did with education), censorship, and living next door to terrorists.

You never know where they'll strike next. And I could hear Drudge chuckling as he delivered that eye popper. That's the thing: conservatives always keep their optimism and sense of humor.

Still. . . .

Anyone else beginning to feel kinda like the Eye of Sauron (Lord of the Rings) is roving the land to see what can be scorched next?

Love,

Beginning to feel? Goodness! I've felt the "eye of Sauron" ever since that man got into office! Gives me the creeps!

I sent this your post to my husband at work since he is a loyal conservative and a huge Lord of The Rings fan. His response made me chuckle as much as the post did:

Well, the Eye of Sauron is looking for the ring... And a Cheerios is
kind of a ring-like shape...

With the amount of intelligence "Sauron" has, I can imagine him getting
confused...
