Homeschool Links for May

Right at Home has been a homeschool support group in Western Loudoun County (Virginia) since 1990, serving to connect home schoolers for field trips, classes, Moms' Night Out, Park Days, etc. They also offer adjunct classes in support of home education. When I homeschooled Maddy for 7th grade, she took a wonderful Shakespeare class from RAH.

I receive their monthly email which always carries a list of helpful links from Joyce Guthrie. Although Right at Home is local to me, I thought I oughta pass these on to MommyLife readers.

Dear Barbara,

What a terrific site you have! Wow! I am a mom of two wonderful children. Christian is 9 and Lauren is 6 years old. They are attending a private school right now, however, homeschooling has been in the back of my mind for a couple of years. My husband and I are seriously thinking about pulling them out but I have what it seems almost every mom has gone through; the feeling can I really do this and be successful? I got online and a few minutes later I said to myself: "Can I be 42 and still find areas that I never even knew existed!?" I will definitely look for your books and keep researching. I truly appreciate seeing a blog like yours. I hope you are well.
All the best to you and your family.
