Mother's Day giveaway winners!

Got back with the five youngest kids from Virginia Beach (Challenger Little League Jamboree) at 5:00 and had a lot of family celebrating to do. 

While we were gone:

Ben and Zach graduated from Liberty on Saturday. Tripp and Matt went to the graduation and brought Sophia and her very swollen leg home.  Ben and Zach stayed to clean up the house they'd been renting and got home today shortly after I did.

This means that three people just moved back home - except Ben will be moving out in two weeks when he marries Anna.  Still, that's a heavy influx of new stuff.

Samantha and Kip and six grandchildren - plus Josh and Hattie - were here.  Anna came later too.

Tripp had hung my clothesline while I was gone and I celebrated by hanging my first load of laundry!

Tripp made a wonderful dinner - he is such a better cook than I! - and lots of presents were exchanged - Mother's Day and graduation and something for Ben and Anna (their big day is May 22). 

Now Walravens and Curtises (the Josh and Hattie variety) are gone.  The little kids are asleep.  Zach, Sophia, Maddy and Jonny are watching Kenneth Branaugh's Much Ado About Nothing (great cast: Kenneth B., Michael Keaton, Denzel Washington, Emma Thompson, Keanu Reaves).  Ben and Anna are talking in the living room.  Tripp is going to bed - and I am too, as soon as I announce these winners.  Tomorrow I will catch you up on my trip with the kids.
