Obama tells Hollywood crowd "You ain't seen nothin' yet"

The arrogance and the hunger for adoration are pretty scary to see in the leader of a free nation.

Obama was on a swing through Las Vegas - away from Washington for two days even as North Korea is going nuclear and Iran is encroaching on boundaries - to raise 3-4 million dollars for the Democrat Party. Wonder what they would have siad about Bush in similar circumstances?

I think part of the strategy is to act hyper aggressively on so many fronts that no one can keep up with it all. Please check Drudge for headlines at least once a day. You will begin to pick up on stuff like Nancy Pelosi skedaddling to China to break the news cycle on her outright lies which should have led to her ouster as Speaker of the House (and third in line for the Presidency - gasp!). Now she is telling the Chinese that we need to inventory every aspect of our lives here in America so the government can make sure we're not consuming too much.

Uh -oh. There are so many directions to go in newswise, but I have to take two kids for physicals and one for new glasses today.

Chin up, moms! We are raising the next generation - and if we do a good job, perhaps we will pick better leaders someday.

Love,

Thanks for that last sentence. The other day. after hearing lots of bad news of the tv, I realized that I can't do anything about N. Korea, or about things here that are just wrong, but I CAN prepare my son so that he is wise enough to know what to do when he is put into bad situations. I can't change the world, but I can give the world a young man with high morals and standards.
