Obama to press: "All of you voted for me"
Don't know if you're keeping up with the news: The White House Correspondents' Dinner - billed this year by ABC as the Adult Prom Night - was full of excitement because this year it wouldn't be Bush forced to make jokes about himself for the entertainment of the MSM, but Obama, whose attempts at self-humor are not based on humility but arrogance.
Absolutely disgusting was the Wanda Sykes attack on Rush Limbaugh, calling him the 20th terrorist, comparing him to Osama bin Laden, making fun of his drug addiction (which he successfully recovered from years ago, and hoping he dies of kidney failure.
Obama, to his discredit, laughed heartily.
Hearken back to his Inaugural speech:
How lovely it would have been had he chosen to walk the walk rather than just talk the talk. Time after time, I see him tarnishing the office of the presidency.
And as under Clinton, the moral atmosphere sunk to new lows, we are seeing a repeat of the pattern. The American culture is like a child with a strict parent and a permissive parent. The minute Democrats come into power, there's just more "freedom" from good manners, civility, tradition, dignity.
I guess this is supposed to be cool. I think it's sad. And sadder that it's so hypocritical.

Obama and the other Democrats in power have a very deep mean streak. Arrogance and meanness. That is this administration.
This whole administration so far seems like it's from a science fiction or thriller book. We can see all of the arrogance, the transparent lies, the abuse of power. And it all seems to be leading up to some catastrophe that will bring everyone to their knees. I'm really worried.
