What is your parenting style? Take the quiz

When T-Mobile recruited me for their Parenting Style quiz, I said yes because I love quizzes. But no surprise that I came out Sgt. Strict!

With seven kids over 18, I've Been There, Done That on many questions, like how we handle our kids' transportation needs once they're drivers, and how we handle cell phones/texting usage. In fact, taking this quiz gave me a few ideas for posts in the weeks ahead :)

My kids are both under 5 so this was all very hypothetical to me, but I also got Sgt. Strict. Interestingly, I didn't really feel like I was picking the most strict choice for most of the questions. Thanks for sharing the quiz.

Oh good, Barbara! I'm so glad...I was feeling bad that I also got Sgt. Strict. :) I guess maybe it comes with having lots of kids? I dunno...but at least I'm in GOOD company with you!

Happy Belated Birthday, sweetie!

Sgt. Strict reporting for duty.

Like Lauren, I had to pick the closest thing. Like, in re: the driver's license, my attitude is fine, now buy the car. Or re: the texting bill. I would never pay for texting. If somehow I got a bill like that I'd do a great deal more than just "circle part time job ads and leave them on her pillow."
