Alphabet song - phonemics/phonetic approach

Remember that it's best to teach lower case letters first. Also, that while most programs are eager to teach the names of letters, the Montessori approach is to teach the sounds - which will be more useful and help your child learn to read more easily (I detail the Montessori approach to reading - which you can teach your child simply and economically in Mommy, Teach Me to Read!

Great information and videos. I didn't know that teaching the sounds of the letters first is more helpful in learning to read. I'll be adding "Mommy Teach Me to Read" to my list. Thanks for sharing this.
