Obama's healthcare juggernaut, ABC propaganda - resist!
Tonight ABC - continuing to misrepresent itself as a valid media source - will be broadcasting what amounts to an unpaid infomercial from the White House to push Obama's health care plan. While billed as a "reform" it is actually the first step toward another government takeover of the private sector of our economy.
Each American family's stake in this is very high. We've already seen how the HMOs have interfered with the doctor/patent relationship, adding an unnecessary level of bureaucracy which makes money for the HMO and insurance company while robbing doctors and patients.
That's only a small taste of what it would be like if the government got its claws on health care - which represents 1/7 of our economy.
This is being presented to the American people via propaganda which relies on lies, oversimplification, and fear-mongering. Once again - as with all that Obama has proposed - there is not time to read or review. Last week the health care bill was some 900 pages long. Now it is over 1200.
Because our constitutional system in of checks and balances has become nonfunctional and cannot protect us - and because our media is so blatantly operating as a propaganda outlet - we may end up with another unthinkable Obama power-grab that will result in further deconstructing our free enterprise system.
The lie is this: those opposed to Obama's plan are not hardhearted and not opposed to fixing the parts that are broken. It's just that their voices are not being heard and time is not being allowed for a full discussion of all the options. That would not be in Obama's interest as he clearly intends to seize as much power in as short a time as possible.
When ABC announced its intention of broadcasting its infomercial from the White House to sell the American people on this partisan plan, opponents tried to buy commercial time but ABC would not grant it.
Make no mistake: despite Obama's rhetoric about bipartisanship, this is the most partisan administration in our lifetimes. And the most People-packaged media rollout we've ever seen.
It's up to us to spread the word through blogs, emails and word of mouth. Write your Congresspeople to let them know that come 2010 we will remember every vote they made. Get involved with your local political party. Educate your kids on the issues. Never give up.

When a cheaper alternative with lower quality is made available, employers will opt to purchase those less costly insurance plans, forcing employees to accept this cheaper alternative which may or may not allow them to keep their current doctors. Employees may also be invited to purchase their own healthcare if they have their heart set on keeping their own physician after years of establishing a trusting doctor-patient relationship. This is the part you’re not told, that ultimately, it will be a luxury to keep your existing physician and your existing health plan.
