Who needs a GPS system when you have road signs?

That is too funny! I usually heart my Navigon...but today it steered me wrong, (my first time driving all my lonesome with the kids in Germany)...it took me the "scenic" route, which was fine, i eventually ended up home and safe, but at the time I did not recognize ANY of my surroundings and just kept seeing highway after highway come and go with road signs in german and listing other towns instead of North/South directiosn...Eventually I pulled over, had a cry, and prayed. I'm home now, and I know what happened, and how to fix it next time. ;)

Hey, I was a mere 1700 miles away! You should have dropped by. ;)
Tomorrow we leave Denver for Toronto ( a skimpy 1350 miles) and I have taken heed of your pointers about travelling with kids and activity suggestions.

Love it. Close by in Sacramento on US 50 we have a mileage marker to somewhere on the Maryland coast. Can't wait to fill my tank and see where it goes.
