Ziegler defends Palin, Contessa Brewer falls apart

Amazingly, Letterman calls Palin's look "slutty flight attendant", yucks it up about her 14-year-old daughter getting "knocked up" by A- Rod, and Contessa Brewer of MSNBC - aka Obamedia - attacks Sarah Palin for calling Letterman "pathetic."

Watch John Ziegler turn the tables on this ridiculous hypocrite who would probably call herself a feminist,. but is in reality more like an enemy collaborator:

John Ziegler is director of Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted. He has become increasingly vocal about what he sees - and don't we all? - as the Death of Jouranlism in the United States.

Shame on NBC. Shame on the Government Media!!!!

Love,

He was AWESOME!!! She said she was "insulted" at the end... for what? Him speaking the truth? But yet she wouldn't admit if she'd be insulted if someone publicly called her a slut? She was so disgusted with him she demanded for his mike to be cut. Talk about a weak attempt at trying to be some big and bad power media. She's pathetic. I'm so glad I don't watch that crud on a daily basis.

Let me get this straight - Contessa is "okay" with publicly being called "slutty" (and Sarah Palin is some kind of loser crybaby for being offended by such a comment), but Contessa becomes outraged to the point of cutting the microphone when NBC is called "classless" ... yeah, sure.

I was really disappointed to see this after the lead-in of the post title. I didn't see it that way. While I heartily agree with his assessments of the "mainstream" media, in this interview he was a horrible representative. If you already understand where he's coming from, maybe the way he handled himself seems ok. Yet, objectively, he comes off like a a bit of a lunatic. There is a wealth of material with which to make an intelligent and forceful case without resorting to the borderline snottiness he exhibited for all the world to see.

How sad was that? She's OK with being called slutty, but don't call me classless buddy.
Clueless would have been a better word choice John.
Why can't liberal spokeswomen see how used they are? They aren't convincing me that their educational dollars were well spent.

I have to agree with Marian on this one: John Ziegler did not come across well. He was rude to her. Bringing up specific points that she and/or NBC had failed to give proper press to would have been great. Calling them names for things they've done in the past? Not so much. Classless, even, one might say. (Although his attempt to get her to admit that being called "slutty" would be insulting was a good attempt, and her refusal to admit this was laughable.)

I know that John sounded very abrasive but you have to remember something very important. The interviewer was asking a lot of veiled questions. They sounded somewhat innocent unless you took into account what she was really saying. John simply called her on every single one of them. Was he giving her a real hard time? You betcha. Right from the get-go.

Asking if Sarah Palin was feeling bad about not being considered the leader of the GOP sounded a little silly to me at first. I mean, where did that come from? She has never declared herself any such thing. But then John cleared that up and it was a "V8" moment. (hand hitting forehead in a "duh" movement). Of course! She was making what I call a veiled statement: that the GOP is made up of old white men.

John is very abrasive and he's sending the MSM a clear message. Don't try any of that false journalism garbage on him. He's not going to let one iota of it pass by.

Was he too much? (shrugs) I'm not entirely sure. It's really hard to wake up a sleeping America. He may simply be trying to give this country a good shove to wake up before it's too late. And we're pretty close to "too late" now.

I agree with Sue.

I am fed up with the supercilious attitude of these news anchors. In my opinion, it was reprehensible for a woman rather than attacking Letterman, to attack Palin for being offended that a "comedian" said she looked like a "slutty flight attendant" and referred to an imaginary statutory rape of her daughter on national television (remember when SNL had a "skit" on incest between her husband and daughter?).

Frankly, I think it's time for people to get mad. Brietbart had an interesting column two days ago: Know thy enemy: This is not your mother's Democratic Party in which he makes the case that our ideals will never prevail until we stop trying to be friends and start fighting.

The Dems - and the media - have become like playground bullies (hah! ironic since they are always touting hate crime legislation to silence conservatives). Their hostility and their "jokes" are vile, their attacks on individuals - rather than on principles - and their attempts to DESTROY anyone who gets in their way evil.

I completely support any conservative man who is man enough to defend Palin's honor and dignity when all the other Republicans have thrown her to the wolves - including the vicious She-Wolves.

There is a time for everything - Eccl. 3. I believe now is the time to take off the gloves and start fighting for what we believe.

Watch how the "Government run media" turns the "news" into stories about themselves. They can't remove themselves and simply report the "news" which is quite pathetic. It is all about how this affects them personally.

The sad part is what we are now expected to accept and tolerate Letterman's perverted humor.

John Z. was right on the money. He seemed outlandish to some viewers, and definitely to Contessa, because they need to remove the blinders from their eyes. The jokes by Letterman targeted at Palin were absolutely disgusting. If Contessa does not agree that the jokes were clearly offensive, then I would say that she has clearly lost her sense of what is right and what is wrong. Julie
