A visit from Becky Miller and family

Okay, so I'm a little late posting this, but on June 29 a small contingent of the Curtis family was thrilled to get a visit from Matt and Becky Miller from Rhode Island. They were on their way home from a pro-life conference in North Carolina and winding up the Eastern Seaboard coast visiting relatives - including some in Purcellville, a small town down about 20 minutes down the road from us.
Becky has been commenting at MommyLife for years and this was actually the second time we met. The first was when she was mom of only one and looking very glamorous in patent leather peeptoes:

Becky's husband is hilarious and they both are the kind of people you feel like you've known forever. My Downzers were all at Easter Seals camp and Matt and Sophia were working, Zach and Sophia were home to enjoy the cheesecake and coffee the Millers brought and a few hours of conversation that were so much fun I didn't realize until after they left that a hostess has more duties than sitting around and talking.
Oh, well. It isn't often I get a chance to stop blogging and sit down for conversation. Can I help it if I forget to mind my manners?
