How to brainwash a nation - 1985 analysis rings true now

I ran this in the weeks running up to the election - Heck, what didn't I run that many thought was too far out to be credible? Check out my Campaign 2008 category for 300 or so entriies/warnings of what was to come, including my entirely sincere hopeful As We Welcome President Obama on election night.

But despite his words to the contrary, Obama was never about bipartisanship or healing. He had a serious agenda to implement and he has wasted no time.

Now that we have a Glorious Leader in the process of deconstructing our country, taking over the means of wealth for the government, and creating an electorate driven by fear and disinformation and purposely-constructed dependence on the government, you can see that these totalitarian techniques for overthrowing a country are well on their way to the final conclusion:
