Obama Science Czar: baby only a potential human

Obama's Science Czar Said a Born Baby 'Will Ultimately Develop Into a Human Being' Tuesday, July 28, 2009 By Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief(CNSNews.com) - President Obama's top science adviser said in a book he co-authored in 1973 that a newborn child "will ultimately develop into a human being" if he or she is properly fed and socialized.
"The fetus, given the opportunity to develop properly before birth, and given the essential early socializing experiences and sufficient nourishing food during the crucial early years after birth, will ultimately develop into a human being," John P. Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, wrote in "Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions."Read entire article at CNS News.
So a baby is not a human being, but only has the potential of becoming a human being.
Yet another screwball Obama appointee - but unfortunately not so comic since as part of Obama's New Czarist Empire he has absolutely no accountability and is subject to no oversight, reigning at the pleasure of our Glorious Leader.

Something has been ruminating in the back of my mind, Barbara... If Obama's approval rating is going down, that is a good thing... but he is still our president...Even so...do you think that the ratings are a sign that things could get better as people start contacting their senators and getting involved in what is happening?

[I'm not out to get Obama - I just want to stop his policies. I do think that congressmen and women could be getting nervous as they see his ratings go down, knowing they're up for re-election before he is. But they're caught between a rock and a hard place as the Democrat party is BRUTAL in its efforts to keep dissent out of the party ranks. That's why they're so much more successful in battles with Republicans.]

I heard this this morning - incredible. Not just your baby, but apparently your two year old, as he says "early years" . . . but hey, there's hope for your two year old - just "properly socialize" him or her. And I'm sure we can guess all that is included in their vision of "proper" socialization . . .

How very sad that the headline had to specify a BORN baby - because if he thought that about an unborn baby it wouldn't be controversial at all.
May God have mercy on us.
Have you delved into Mr Science Czar's love of the elderly? i.e., his position that their lives are worth less than those still contributing to the workforce?

Yes, it will be interesting to see what happens as the re-election process comes up for the dems...I know you're not out to get Obama...but concerned about his policies as we all are... I guess I've just given up hope that he could be thrown out of office, and so I have hopes that with websites like yours, the people will be more informed and start screaming and shouting, and it will make a difference... I think it already has with healthcare.
Also, a note to poster " Kim"... You should be aware of the UN convention on the rights of the child. www.parentalrights.org If this were to go through, it could open all kinds of doors to taking away our parental rights.... I know exactly what type of " socialization" you are referring to.... and we need to fight things like this UN convention on the rights of the child...

When will people think straight? all it will take
to freeze/refreeze the poles is to stop going there.
The wave action of the tankers and bigger ships is a
kinetic impulse upon the ice, just as effective as the ice-cutters over this last century opened up
