Stop Obama health care plan - call NOW!!
One thing no one seems to mention when ranting and raving about our "broken" health care system is that everyone ends up getting the care they need.
Well, actually, almost everyone - *see footnote below*
No insurance? No citizenship? No worries. Just take your kids to the local emergency room - which is legally bound not to turn you away - and set the public meter running for treating an earache or cold.
No insurance? Homeless? Alcohol problem? Just call 911 for a free ride to a clean bed and warm meal - a la Ricky Alardo, who has run up an estimated 3.9 million tab - paid for by taxpayers.
With four kids with disabilities - and eight without - I've seen my share of NICUs, ICUs and ERs. And I've seen a lot of disadvantaged people receive EXACTLY the same care my family received. The only difference was that since we had insurance, we had to pay copays - and they didn't.
On March 3, I reported on Rahm Emanuel's game plan: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. What I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before...."
So for months, the American public has been whipped into shape by CRISIS AFTER CRISIS, so the Obama Regime can Rahm ram through thousands of pages of unread legislation larded with political paybacks and power grabs which will prolong the crisis and leave us more stripped, dependent and vulnerable than ever.
Using emotionally manipulative propaganda like the following DNC ad, they get a dumbed-down culture on their side:
Love how at the end the announcer intones "The Democratic National Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising."
Excuse me? What content?????? Just another propaganda scare piece to numb the proletariat to the socialist/marxist juggernaut taking place while the Government media keeps us up to date on Michael Jackson and the aftermath of his demise.
Lost in this ObamaHype is the fact that the US has the best health care in the world, as evidenced by our lower mortality rates:
* There is a 90% survival rate in the USA for five cancers - breast, prostate, thyroid, testicular and melanoma. In Europe, only ONE, testicular cancer, has a 90% survival rate.From Why is Government Health Insurance Good Only for Some? which I will post next.
Tell me the truth: If you found you had breast cancer or prostate cancer, can you think of any other country you'd rather be in? Think this through, folks. Why destroy the world's best health care system because a bunch of Marxists tell us we have to "fix" it with a plan that seems like bringing in a sledgehammer to fix a headache?
And then there is the cost. . . . which O&Co are trying to convince us will come only from the super-wealthy. C'mon, folks, the super-wealthy find ways to shield their money from taxes. It's the middle class that always ends up footing the bill - often in secretive unofficial taxes slipped in under our noses. Looked at your phone bill recently? I don't know about yours, but mine has extra charges adding up to 15% these days.
I heard a caller from Belgium on Laura Ingraham yesterday. When asked how government-controlled health care for all was working there, he answered that they had a 21% sales tax (21%!!!) and that they were not allowed to get second opinions.
Obama is fond of saying "Do not believe those who oppose this measure" or "Don't let them scare ya." So much like a cult leader - beginning each speech with Us vs. Them. Gathering some nurses as a backdrop for a speech and then claiming his regime has the "Nurses' Support" while the Government Media obediently ties in the American Nurses Association pre-election endorsement. Excuse me again? There are a few dots missing here - I mean, did the ANA vote or even do a survey of its membership? How dare they associate the ANA with this piece of politics???
And like everything else - the crisis, the urgency, the sky is falling if we don't do this NOW!!!
Obama also says the other side does not have a plan. NOT TRUE!!! See the Heritage Foundation for dozens of articles analyzing and suggesting modifications which do not involve government takeover or risk to the high standards of care we not enjoy.
Tell them enough is enough and they better vote no on this one or face the music in 2010! If we still have elections, that is. . . . . .

Does it do any good to call representatives from other districts? Do they even bother to listen if you're not from their district?
[I don't know the answer to this one and don't have time to research. Does anyone else know or have time to get back to us with an answer?]

So if I am getting all this right it means that if this health care bill passes my 80 year old Grandmother will no longer be able to get the injections she needs to keep her vision because she needs to 'acept the conditions of age' to save the government $$$ which means she will be totally blind and no longer able to live alone meaning she will need nursing home care which will cost the government $$,$$$ ?

Now, I am opposed to nationalizing health care, but this idea that I keep seeing that the USA has "the world's best health care system" is just false. It is the most expensive, but we are at the bottom of the other industrialized countries for life expectancy.

I am a 29 year old stay-at-home mother of two. My cousin, who is a 39 year old small business owner, part-time contract-basis ultrasound technician AND stay-at-home mother of 3, took it upon herself to create an awareness website focusing on Obama's healthcare proposition. She also designed, created and is selling car magnets to help advertise the opposition we hope to inflict upon our representatives. The site is amazing! She has even posted a link to put individuals in direct contact with their state legislators. She also posted a form letter for people to use if they are at a loss for words. I believe that this site may be a means for people to become active in protecting our freedom. There are many people who feel like whatever happens happens and there is nothing they can do about it. This site may just reach a few, but it is a start. Those of us who keep quiet and live our lives hoping and praying that our country will get back on track are getting sick and tired of getting pushed around and taken advantage of. We can only take so much before we hit back.

I agree. Socialized medicine will destroy this country. We need to call all representatives and tell them to get rid of Medicare and all other socialized health programs....don't stop there...we need to get rid of all our socialized programs....Food stamps, WIC, welfare, Social Security, Public School systems, the Post Office, Fire Department, Police, National Parks. THE GOVERNMENT IS TAKING CONTROL OF OUR LIVES. WE NEED TO TAKE IT BACK. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES TODAY!!!!!!

It appears Obama doesn’t care about drowning small business with expensive costs of employee health insurance, taxes, government regulations and controls that will inhibit economic growth and jobs. Increasingly Americans are agitated when they recognize Obama can’t pay for his planned public programs including government health care, without greatly raising income taxes on real estate and stock share gains, inheritance and profits made on assets; effectively confiscating Citizens’ assets, that otherwise would be invested in the economy, business expansion and new employees. For many, Obama Forced Health Insurance Costs Could Equal Their Paid Income Tax. It is foreseeable Costs of Forced Health Insurance will disqualify millions of middle class home buyers qualifying for mortgages. Obama apparently is not concerned about the loss of middle class home buyers that support the housing market that secure trillions in mortgages held by U.S. banks. Or that stagnate or lower home values will cause job loss in construction and manufacturing. Or that falling home prices cause lower property taxes, forcing local governments to layoff workers and ask federal agencies for money; increasing federal deficits.
Ideologically REDS believe free enterprise exploits labor and people for profit and should be punished. The Obama Health Plan is bright RED because its insurance costs will force millions of middle class Americans that can't afford health insurance to pay Opt-Out penalties Obama will use to pay health insurance costs for others, while middle class Citizens without insurance, will be forced to borrow money and sell their property to pay medical costs.
Many U.S. Socialists and Communists and hybrids of those beliefs, believe crushing free enterprise or capitalism will expedite power to them, the STATE, once the masses become totally dependent on Gov. for survival. The problem with the RED Ideology is it breaks down after the REDS run out of other peoples’ money to spend on Socialistic or Communist programs.
During the Cold War, Americans displayed bumper stickers that said, "Better Dead Than Red." Now it is Politically Incorrect to call Leftists “Reds†even when they support communism or overthrow of our Government. Despite Conservatives having not decided what is politically correct, they retreat when it comes to calling American Socialists and Communists “Reds.â€
Increasingly, U.S. Citizens ask, “Why did Obama bring into high levels of Government, people that believe in or support ideologies that run against the will of most Americans; ideologies that prior, threatened the Freedom of U.S. Citizens?†Perhaps it is Time To Lawfully March On The U.S. Capital Displaying Signs and Banners Rebuking The Communists and Socialists In Our Government.
