Jim Moran D-Va asks for ID at Town Hall meeting
The county next to mine had a raucous Town Hall a few nights ago in Reston. Rep. Jim Moran must have felt he needed reinforcement, so he called in failed presidential candidate and former head of the DNC Howard Dean - plus a few hundred square feet of Democrat Astroturfers.
Remember Astroturf was the epithet flung by Nancy Pelosi about conservatives pouring out by the thousands last April for the Tea Parties. Astroturf is meant to indicate that we are not a true grassroots movement, but receive marching orders from organizations.
Funny, but I had not seen a single mass-produced sign in any videos of conservatives at Tea Parties or Town Hall meetings until Obama called on his own organizations - some of which receive public funding for "community organizing" Obama agitprop.
Now we see the REAL Astro-turf. Responding to their own marching orders from the top, they pour into districts not their own, wave their mass-produced signs and try to disrupt the chances of those who would like to voice their real concerns.
In the following clip, Rep. Moran accuses a Town Hall attendee of not being from his district and demands to see an ID before allowing him to ask a question. How about we all show IDs at these meetings and keep the Democrat Astroturf out to make room for the many actual District 8 voters who waiting outside when the hall ran out of room?
I'd say it's time to vote this tired old pompous politician out of office.
