Obama: "I don't want the folks who created the mess do a lot of talking"
From the Listen to What I say, Don't Watch What I Do Obama Playbook:
Reporting on Obama's fund-raising effort last night for Virginia's swiftly-sinking Democrat gubernatorial candidate (Looks like Virginia will be returning to red state status soon!):
In Virginia, Obama says US needs pragmatic leaders
August 6, 2009 - 8:32pm
By PHILIP ELLIOTT, AP WriterMcLEAN, Va. (AP) - President Barack Obama on Thursday told fellow Democrats that the nation needs governors who focus on long-term implications and avoid petty matters that mar politics, returning to campaign mode and reviving his election-season rhetoric. He then blamed his predecessor - a Republican - for leaving behind an economic crisis.
Right - six years of growth and prosperity - even folowing a major terrorist attack on our largest city - ended by two years of economic downturn prompted by the return of Congressional control to Democrats and a Republican president who failed to stand up to them.
Appearing at a fundraiser and rally for Democratic gubernatorial candidate R. Creigh Deeds, Obama exhorted leaders to set aside a harshness that he said is all too common in politics. He told his northern Virginia audience that state leaders who practice pragmatism and cooperation can push through goals.
Oh. I guess that would be a different kind of harshness than the lies and misrepresentations and vilification of middle-class tax-paying dissenters to Obama's socialist policies.
Appealing across party lines, Obama told the Democratic audience that leaders must listen to their opponents and disagree with civility.
Like I said, from the Listen to What I say, Don't Watch What I Do Obama Playbook.
He pointed to massive financial challenges and an exploding deficit he said he inherited from Republican President George W. Bush.
More wah! wah! wah! As Bruce Willis said in some movie, "Will someone please call the Wahmbulance?"
"That was gift-wrapped and waiting for me," Obama said. "I don't want the folks who created the mess do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking."
Wow. That's pretty damning. Do you think he came off the teleprompter for this?

Wow. What a jerk. There are a lot of other words swimming in my head, but I'm just going to leave it at that.

They remind me of children -- their definition of us "playing fairly" is them winning. (Which goes right along with their definition of "sharing" -- they get all of our toys.)

Here is a man that only believes the First Amendment are for those that grovel before him, not for us that think he's an arrogant...I'll leave it at that.
I can NOT wait for the next elections... these liberals need to get out of office. They don't deserve to be there.
