Olympics: Chicagoans for Rio story shut down on FOX

The next city to host the Olympics will be announced in four days.

You may or may not know - given the tangle of lunatic domestic and international policies now being perpetrated on the American people by an administration dominated by the radical Left - that part of Our Glorious Leader's Wish List is that the 2016 Olympics be held in Chicago. To that end, Lady Michelle will sally forth to Geneva next month amid cries that the Big O himself should go - and who would think he could pass up another opportunity to escape the confines of the White House to brand his image even further into our psyches?

[News flash: the White House just announced that the Big O will leave Thursday night for Copenhagen to make a personal pitch.]

Not that this is a top priority issue, but what gives it a new ominous tone is that Fox News Chicago reported last week on a Chicago-based effort to pass the Olympic torch to Rio de Janeiro. Seems that hosting the Olympics brings not only glory, but a staggering debt load that lasts for years.

After one broadcast, the local station was ordered not to repeat the story. By whom is not clear. Now it's a bigger story as the alternative media picks up not only the debate but the shutdown of dissent:

See Chicagoans for Rio.
