Curious about Catholicism? Purcellville inquiry sessions start 9/14

 jesus christ   From St. Francis de Sales in Purcellville;

Dear Neighbors:

St. Francis de Sales Parish Community will soon begin inquiry sessions to share with others the truths of the Catholic faith and the fellowship of our parish family,  Starting Monday, September 14 at 7:30, there will be regular sessions for those who would like to look into the Catholic Church and its teachings.  I invite you to join us.

The sessions are always on Monday,  They are free and imply no commitment on your part to join the Catholic Church.  We are simply inviting you to learn what the Church teaches,  These sessions are opportunities for you and others that you may wish to invite to ask any questions you have about Jesus Christ and the Church.

These gatherings are open to people who are not baptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from Protestant or Evangelical backgrounds, baptized Catholics who have not received their First Communion or Confirmation, and Catholics who would like a refresher course in their faith.

We hope to see you at our first session on Monday, September 14 at 7:30 at the church.  Please feel free to come any Monday if you cannot make the first session.

May you prayerfully consider our sincere invitation.

Sincerely in Christ,
Father Escalante

Many Catholic Churches have similar programs - called RCIA classes - for those with questions about the Catholic faith.  So if you are curious, check with your local church.

Love,

Oh how I wish there were a Catholic parish around DFW that had something like that. Or maybe there is?
