Glenn Beck 9-12 Moms bumped for Obama, will run Monday
See all 9-12 Mom entries here.
Thanks, Mary for the tweet from Glenn Beck:
# 912 moms bumped for Obama speech. Will run whole show on Monday. The 2nd half is amazing tell a friend.37 minutes ago from Echofon
Let me tell you about the show:
They put mikes on me and Mary and Stephanie - and did our hair and make-up. They also had Frank Luntz and the forensic psychiatrist whose name I can't recall but who was sitting next to Frank and Stephanie across from Mary and me. The other moms had driven in from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio - and maybe other places since I only talked to about half the women there.
The producers were concerned because the last studio audience show they'd had hadn't gotten fired up and they were worried that they'd again have a problem with people hesitating to speak up.
That was not a problem!!!! We could have gone on for six hours, there was so much we were all bursting to say. So Mary and Stephanie and I ended up only saying one thing. And I thought the other members of the audience were just amazing in their passion, poise and sense of purpose.
It is clear that this is part of the momentum that is building. Please let Glenn know how important this was to us. I loved that he is confronting those with a negative stereotype about dissenters in this country and asking them if we look crazy.
Under our chairs were pink Tshirts that say
9-12 Moms
and on the back:
Question with Boldness.
Speak without Fear.
Plus a copy of Glenn's new book, Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government.
I was amazed when I talked to the mothers to find how much questioning they were doing and how fearless they were becoming in their speech. I loved the mothers who shared their experiences of taking on issues in the schools, or finding out others who'd been closet conservatives when they went to a Tea Party.
Please do watch the show when it airs. I don't care whether you hear my comment - you all already know my thoughts on these matters, and frankly I hate the ay I look on TV. But there were some great comments made during the time we were subjected to seeing His Face once again (doesn't that man ever go home and shut up? Does he have to be in our faces every waking minute? I feel like I live in a Banana Republic.)
One thing Glenn talked about is how moms are mobilizing because this is affecting our children and awakening our protective instincts.
So be sure to watch on Monday at 5 PM.
Ladies, this is just the beginning. And as that one beautiful mom said:
Party On!

I know that the Glenn Beck show re-runs at 2am, so I'll DVR it, too. Perhaps they'll run it without the interruption. What did air was great!

I was really looking forward to the show. I DVR'd the show and then when we started to watch, Saw you right there in the front row and then Obama came on. Glad the show will run on Monday. I really like Glenn Beck. He seems like a great person. How is he when you got to meet him and shake his hand. I think he is really trying to wake people up and put a fire under them to take back our country. I bet you had a great time. Looking forward to seeing it on Monday.....Love Becky Wold

I was watching the show when the interruption happened. I DVR'ed the later show and the interruption wasn't there. I am anxious to watch the show. It's very empowering to see so many moms speaking out. I watch Glenn Beck everyday. I think he is causing people to remember how lucky we are to live here and how the government belongs to us. It's time we had a motivator.

I was amazed and frustrated by the Obama speech right in the middle of the first airing, but was able to record the show in entirety at midnight where I live. It was wonderful. So many articulate, regular people there. It seemed like it should have gone on for hours, with so much more to talk about.
Glen Beck is doing his best to inform people. Sometimes it does sound like conspiracy, but for the first time I can see that there may indeed be a conspiracy, especially when I hear so many young people (20's and 30's) say that socialism is a good thing. The original conspiracy began many years ago, dumbing down our children in the government schools. They've been fed everything green and everything equal for too long. I am concerned they cannot be reasonably informed with facts at this point. They missed out on the facts about History and economics and were given a fiction. Praying is what I'll be doing.
You were so radiant on the set Barbara ! Looked like you enjoyed every moment. I hope you and many others do get to return. It was too short.

Barbara...
SO PROUD of you for doing this!
I would have LOVED to have hidden in your luggage to get to meet Glenn Beck. I bet he's just as warm in person as he is on TV...
an FYI for your readers: Borders has Glenn's new book on sale for 30% off, which makes it more affordable. They had a big stack when I went on Friday. There was a guy unloading another box, grumbling "What's so special about THIS book?" Plenty of people were there to tell him why.
Standing in line with 6 other customers, 4 of whom were buying his book!
GET THE WORD OUT!! Freedom is on the move!

Saw you in the audience and was glad to be reminded of your blog that I stumbled across the other day. Will share it with the mothers at the MOPS (Mothers of preschoolers)group I mentor. Keep up the good work!

Saw the ENTIRE show last night at 11pm in California!! You were awesome Barbara. I wish there was time for you to say more though, because you are full of intelligent things to say. Glenn Beck is doing a great job getting the information out in way that everyday people can understand. Gotta love it!

We watched the show this morning. I thought you were great, so were all the moms, and I agree that it was too short. When you were all talking about the vaccinations I turned to my husband and said "See, I'm not the only one who feels this way". It is so motivating to know that I am not alone. I love watching Glenn Beck, he is doing a great job at breaking down the information so those of us who were never politically minded can understand what is going on. Same with your blog, I check you every day (except Sundays). Thanks for all of your hard work :-)

Glad to see you on the GB show! I caught the 2AM run on the DVR, which was uninterrupted. How exciting it must have been--and how empowering--to see him live and sit among such motivated, smart, involved women. I loved the theme of this show because I do believe it will be mothers who will bring this country back to where it needs to be. Men will fight hard for their family, but women will fight to the death for their children. I think the government's biggest mistake was underestimating mothers across this country and stepping on our children's future and freedom. Want to motivate a generation to stand up and fight? Just try to get to their sons and daughters. Thanks for representing Loudoun Moms so well! (Janice from Round Hill, Va.)

We DVRed the show and I've watched it three times already. It was so energizing to know I am not alone in feeling the way the moms in the audience did. I can't imagine the level of energy in that room! It came through on TV, it must have been electrifying to be there in person. I would love for Glenn to have more live studio audiences like that....it helps all of us feel less alone!
Now where can I get one of those shirts?

Yay, I finally saw it this afternoon. So glad to see you there. You were so calm and well-spoken (as was everyone). What a great show! I can't wait to watch it again with my husband tonight. I love feeling like I'm NOT alone.
Do you know if they have a way for us "regular" folks to get t-shirts? I would love one of those! It would be a good conversation-starter.

I was watching Glenn Beck and was impressed with you and all the moms, and your personal testimonies. I knew then I would like joining your website. Let's keep on fighting for the cause of Christ and a healing for our country.
Sincerely,

I am a Mother of 9 and 25 Grands. and 1 Great. I have been praying for Mercy from God for our Country, for years. I have watched our Gov. officials slowly destroy our Nation. I speak out,I vote, I sign petitions, just to watch us go 3 steps, forward 2 steps back. It is very refreshing to me, to see Mothers standing up for our Country, and Families. I commend all of you! We as Mothers shouldn't stand, by any more, and watch big Gov. destroy our children's future. We must unite,or we fall. I am old enough to remember how Germany went down. I'm seeing much the same in our beloved America. All we need is to know where we come from -or we are destined to repeat it,if we don't. Our health care is OUR HEALTH CARE, Not our government's.Our right to worship is under great thrrat also. Our children are being taught against our beliefs, and we are told they know best, for our children. MOMS of America. We need to take back our country, families, schools, and our right, to speak out without BIG GOV. acting like we don't count. GOD BLESS AMERICA -AMEN
