Obama Olympics hypocrisy
And by the way, since the United States is supposed to be more humble and stop dominating the world stage . . .
And since the US has hosted the Olympics eight times and South America has never hosted. . .
Then why should we be scrambling to send our Royal Family and its entourage - leaving a hypocritically huge carbon footprint - to impose our will on the Olympics Committee and the world.
If Obama wasn't such a hypocrite, he would step aside and let Rio have it.

Holding the Olympics is always a money pit for the home city. Why would we, during a recession, want to do it?
And why is it so important that Obama can jet over there when there are so many other things that are either more important (war in Afghanistan, Iran nukes, etc.) or made to be important by the democrats (health care, energy?

O! You were the lady on Glenn Beck! Thank you for going to be apart of Glenn's show. I really found that show inspiring. I cried when I heard the "African American" mother say that we should all act as "Americans", not as persons of this race or that race.
I have found your amazing "Mommy Life" because I wanted to find out what Vickie Farris is suffering from....that is realy very sad and concerning....I pray she will be made well soon.

I watched the Glenn Beck Show a little while ago and I now feel not "so alone". As a mom of a grown up son who is married with two children, I find as a Grandma I can be a part of their lives and teach them. I feel that I now have a second chance with them and it is a good feeling. Children are truly God's blessings.
I am so glad that "us Mom's" are blogging and getting our messages out because we are important to society.
I hope that we get the troops that are needed and that Washington D.C. stops the spending. What is happening in Washington D.C. is truly frightening and our Government representatives need to listen to the American People.
Good luck with your website and thank you for the opportunity to write my thoughts.

Agreed, Barbara. I found a story on how big his carbon footprint was for the trip - the equivalent of the emissions of 400+ families in a year!
