9-12 Moms - Glenn Beck show 10/2

It seems like ages ago, but on Friday 10/2 I returned to Glenn Beck's show with Mary Baker from Houston - and this time joined by Lori Parker, who started AsAMom.com to talk some more about the momentum building among American mothers concerned with the direction our country has taken and the threats to their children's well-being and security.

In case you missed the show, here are the segments from YouTube:

See how the women are coming out in droves? This is why I think if Palin runs again she will win. I didn't support her in 2008. I still have issues with a woman being in authority over a man. I also know I pray about it and I really think that God is putting this on my heart. My only issue would be if Ron Paul would run again. I don't know if I could decide between the two.

I don't watch Glenn Beck very much anymore but when I do he sure is funny.

Didn't know you were on his show. Thanks for posting these for us.

P.S. I meant to say this when I saw the first show with Mothers. You have a really sweet voice! You could read lullabies for childrens books!

I loved these videos, Barbara. Thanks for posting them for us. I'm now a member of ASAMOM.

Barbara, you do have the sweetest voice!!! Not what I was expecting, you seem so tough online but you have the sweetest, sweetest speaking voice!!!

Thanks for posting the links - I missed it when it was on TV.

Thank you! I was so anxious to see the show and spent half the day watching, in between diaper changes and making PB&J sandwiches! :)

i really, really liked the statement that it isn't about people or parties anymore, it's about issues and policies and lack of accountability!!!

I am also a member of ASAMOM and I have to agree...I have spent a lot of time closeted, becoming further depressed at everything I was seeing and hearing, feeling as though I am powerless to do anything. It is SO LIBERATING to finally have a place to "come together!" Thank you Lori for putting together the site, and thank you Barbara for your tireless efforts to encourage and EMPOWER moms! Not just empower us with tips of keeping our families healthy emotionally, mentally, and physically, but also empowerment on making efforts to keep our country healthy too!

P.S Barbara, You do have a very gracefilled voice. It was very neat for me, after all these years, to finally have a voice to match with your words. :) (And you looked beautiful by the way!)

You look great momma!
I will watch over and over.........your voice sounds so sweet and reassuring!

I agree, it was wonderful to see you and hear you speak, you have a beautiful voice, it was different than how I imagined it reading your books and blog posts. I also wanted to say I love how you and Mary were able to share your testimonies, it's really ALL about JESUS!!

Barbara, thank you soooo much for posting this! I was involved in a time intensive project, away from my computer, and didn't know you were on the show again until it was too late to have it taped.

I'm looking forward to sitting down at my computer with a cup of coffee and watching you. (I do like your voice! You sound calm and compassionate.)

Hey, I might even share the moment with my children :-)
