I seem to remember Bush - who was roundly criticized by the press every time he played golf - dropping it for a time out of respect for the troops overseas.
Also, Obama responded to press jibes that he was only shooting hoops and playing golf with men by playing with a woman yesterday - much to the glee of the Uncle TOM (Tired Old Media) women,
