Oprah signs Palin interview November 16
This just in: Sarah Palin to appear on Oprah November 16 for an "exclusive chat."
Great day for Palin: the eve of the release of her already best-selling Going Rogue: An American Life.
Great day for Oprah: the middle of the ratings sweeps
Last September, Palin supporters blasted Winfrey for shunning Palin, Obama had appeared on The Oprah Show.
Winfrey's reply: "I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
On April 14, 2009, the FEC ruled that that appearance did not violate campaign rules. Still, there was never a sense of fair play, as the host of the most popular daytime woman's program actively campaigned for Obama before the election and has enjoyed many perks of her patronage since, including a trip with FLOTUS Michelle to Copenhagen to campaign for the 2012 Olympics in Chicago.

I'm not sure how to take this. As eager as I am to see Sarah Palin on Oprah, that excitement diminishes a bit when I think about how Oprah treated her during the campaign. What has made the divine Ms.O change her mind? Now that Obama is seated firmly in the WH, maybe she feels it's a safe time to have her on? Or maybe it's just the ratings draw it will obviously have? I haven't watched Oprah in years but I will be watching this interview.

First thought:
Ratings sell.
Second thought:
Just how will Palin be treated.
There will be many of us watching...

I hope she asked for lots and lots of money to appear on Oprah's show. Hopefully Oprah will treat her decently but I doubt it. It would be great to see the money used for her political campaign.

Part of me doesn't want to watch because I don't want to contribute to Oprah's ratings. I wonder if the audience will be stacked with conservative women or liberal ones?

I love Sarah, but I will not be watching her on Oprah. I stopped watching Oprah the moment she got behind Barack Obama and started shoving him down our throats. I had been a loyal fan for 20 years (even making a road trip to Chicago to see her live), but that decision on her part broke my trust forever. If her judgement could be so bad about Obama, what else is she peddling that is harmful to America?
