    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

11/5/09 Michele Bachman's Emergency House Call - US Capitol steps

Here's where I was today. What Michele Bachmann called an Emergency House Call on the House of Representatives to stop the 2000+ page Pelosi "healthcare" bill. Working on my photojournal now - and a report for Pajamas Media.

In the meantime, watch some videos. They blasted The Who's "We Won't Get Fooled Again" - which I have used here as an anthem for the new conservative revolution:

Opening prayer:

Michele Bachman's opening remarks:

Mark Levin:

Then, Michelle Bachmann explains why she invited us to come to DC:

Barbara, thanks for posting the videos!

I've watched all but the last and I'm saving that one to savor after the children are in bed (in hopes of viewing it uninterrupted :-) ).

I wanted to be there......badly.....there is a rebel within me.....but I'm home nursing husband who recently had surgery.

I'm so thankful for you and all of the moms (and others) who sacrificed and went to DC to let them know that WE DON'T WANT THIS.

p.s.

Maybe the children will get their evening work done and I'll share the video with them.

We're not ones to hide important stuff from them.

I want them to be rebels (for God), too.

Humbly signing off.......

Thank you for posting these. I would have loved to have been there! How amazing that this was organized in a matter of a few days!

Thank you to all who went to D.C. for this! Also, I wasn't familiar with Michele Bachmann before watching this video clip, but I like her! She comes across to me as very articulate and not pretentious, dignified and not folksy.
