Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Glenn Beck tonight: black conservatives speak out

beck-glenn7.jpgYou all know I've been highlighting black conservatives and black conservative bloggers for some time.

When Mary, Lori and I were on Glenn Beck last month, I shared what I'd discovered as I'd been researching this important development in conservatism and suggested that they do a show similar to the 9-12 Moms to give these individuals an opportunity to speak out.

So, I am very excited to announce that Tonight Is the Night!

Cliff, who blogs at Another Black Conservative, has promised to give us the behind-the-scenes scoop at his blog at 6 PM. Other bloggers on hand for the show were Adrienne Ross of Motivation:Truth and Maria from My Voice on the Wings of Change.

Glenn Beck, 5 PM EST. I'll be watching, will you?

In case you missed them, here are my entries on Black Conservatives:

Democrats, Beware. Black conservatives are everywhere.

Black Conservatives rising: Thinkers and Blogs

Racism? Really? Black conservatives on Obama

Leftist racism: Black conservatives reject the race card

Barbara, I was going to email you about it!! I watched it. It was great!! too many commercials though. Ugh! Glenn needs to have one of those shows once a week - show America its face!!!

[You are so right - way too many commercials!!! And I didn't like the format as much as the one for the Moms Show - I wish he had not been on a stage separated like that.]
