H1N1 Swine flu: VA boy contracts Guillain-Barre

jordan mcf.jpg Va. teen suffers rare illness after swine flu shot Boy diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, but CDC says no clear link By JoNel Aleccia updated 12:57 p.m. ET, Thurs., Nov . 12, 2009

A 14-year-old Virginia boy is weak and struggling to walk after coming down with a reported case of Guillain-Barre syndrome within hours after receiving the H1N1 vaccine for swine flu.

Jordan McFarland, a high school athlete from Alexandria, Va., left Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Tuesday night in a wheelchair nearly a week after developing severe headaches, muscle spasms and weakness in his legs following a swine flu shot. He will likely need the assistance of a walker for four to six weeks, plus extensive physical therapy.

Strange that this story is not being followed by anyone other than FOX, MSNBC and bloggers. . .

And btw, did you notice that the swine flu death toll quadrupled in one day because the reporting parameters were changed? That's one way to keep up the fear-mongering: not more people dead, just redefined.

Swine Flu cases have started to fall in the UK for the first time since August

I am so sad to hear that. I broke down and got a shot after my ob talked me into it, telling me that it would build immunity for the baby.

I'm still wondering how they've suddenly gotten ALL.THESE.CASES of swine flu being reported and recorded, yet they stopped officially doing actual testing. So basically anyone coming in to the doc's office presenting general flu symptoms are automatically treated as if they have Swine Flu.

This is exactly the reason we're not doing swine flu vaccines, and why we NEVER do flu shots.

The flu vaccines are generally considered to be some of the most reactive. My husband had a reaction to a flu vaccine that was similar to GBS; except his is on the milder end but is a chronic nerve condition. Meaning he suffers chronic pain that is essentially untreatable and needs a cane to walk.

I think it's important to note that doctors know this is caused by the thimerosal in the vaccine - and that thimerosal-free vaccinations are readily available.
