I know we are supposed to be scandalized that a nine-year-old would be doing such a thing, but I have to admit that my current 16-year old has been making Get Out the Vote calls (for pro-life candidates) for at least four years, maybe longer. This has been his choice. In 2006 there were times when I'd drop him (and some older siblings) off at the call center while I did other things. He is already picking which state candidates to work for in 2010. I see nothing wrong with youngsters being involved in the political process. I just wish this one's parents had a different world-view.
