Leftist cultural imperialism in Africa, Obama vs. Catholic Church

I have been saying since last spring that I think the battle lines are being drawn between the Obama regime and the Catholic Church - and part of that his his playing to CINO (Catholics In Name Only) and using that association for cover. Is it judgmental to call Pelosi, Kennedy, Biden et al CINOs? I mean, who am I to judge?

The Church has NEVER wavered in its 100% pro-life - not just anti-abortion, but pro-life - position. To say a politician can be a true Catholic when they ignore this fundamental and central tenet of our faith is as absurd as saying that they could condone and legislate in favor of any other sin. Period. End of story.

One of the main reasons I reverted to the Catholic Church two years ago is because it has indeed remained faithful to the teachings that once were followed by all Christian churches, but abandoned one-by-one since the Lambeth Conference in 1919. The Catholic Church has shown integrity and the ability to withstand cultural pressure.

For this reason, Obama has singled out the Catholic Church as an enemy (sometimes his fixation on anyone who will not come under his total thrall reminds me of Sauron in Lord of the Rings) - and done his best to undercut it with his speaking at Georgetown (where he had the cross covered) and Notre Dame.

Here is a recent Vortex on cultural imperialism in Africa (from the Left) - which shares my view:

You have a point there. What better way to undermine an organization by using its unfaithful but influential members as leverage? Obama's deceptive tactics are despicable, and the more people that point it out, the better.

God bless!

There is a reason you are reminded of Sauron. As I've told my children: The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, the Pirates of the Caribbean are all the same story. The "big man" wants to be called Lord of All and a small remnant is left to fight for their freedom.

Why do our story tellers keep telling us this story? Because it keeps happening over and over again, Honduras, Nicaragua and it looks like their going to try it in America.
